linear calculation ( puzzle category : easy )

Hint: Black ( a norvegian promising GM) noticed the awkward situation of the white pieces in the middle of the board and exploited it in a linear and convincing fashion. Yours to find !

1..Bf5! wins the quality:
a) 2. Bxf5 Nf3+ and 4..Nxd4
b) 2. Kg2 Nc6 wins

Precisely ! 1..Bf5! wins the exchange, nice motif of deflection ( providing the fork on f3).

a few precisions showing that chess tactics are everyhwere.

c) 2 Bb7 Rab8 3 Re1 ! with idea 3..Rb7 4 Re5! with idea ..Re5 5 Rd8+ with checkmate for black.
instead 2..Bb1 3 Ba8 Ra8 wins for Black.

b) 2 Kg2 Nc6 lets white play Bc6! attacking the rook in ..e8.

b) 2 Kg2 and e) 2 Kh1 can be met by another excellent rejoinder by Black. Can you spot it ?

I meant 5 Rd8+ checkmate for white in the c) variation.

In the blitz game, White actually played 2 Kh1 ( variation e).

The game lasted only 2 moves after that, so you're on the right track !
Well done !
